As Internal Sales Support, you are an essential part of our sales and customer service team. You will support the Account Managers and customers by keeping accurate records, preparing quotes, answering customer questions, lead generation and billing management.

Your role at ACA

Duties and Responsibilities

  • You manage a portfolio and/or pipeline of small business accounts for which you are the first point of contact or support the sales team in this, with a focus on “straightforward” cooperation contracts with recurring or straightforward tasks: renewing, extending or adjusting contracts (a.o. via “change requests”) and licenses, spotting obvious opportunities (e.g. via Salesforce), ...
  • You initiate customer contacts by phone to go after opportunities; you follow up contacts and appointments by phone
  • You follow up the external “Connecting Expertise” platform and take appropriate action where relevant
  • You play an active role in our lead generation by following up on the ACA campaigns, qualifying leads (e.g. “hot” versus “cold”), making exploratory phone calls, and forwarding leads to Sales colleagues for further action where appropriate
  • You will ensure accurate documentation of contacts and actions in Salesforce and keep the database up-to-date

Sales Support

  • Renew, extend or modify contracts and licenses.
  • Facilitate appointments for the sales team with prospects and customers.
  • Contacting prospects and customers according to agreements with the sales team.
  • Administrative support in SalesForce (entering contacts and accounts, meeting reports, etc.).
  • Managing contact lists and adding contacts based on characteristics to various campaigns for the sales team.

Quote trails / specifications / submissions

  • Administrative support in the submission of quotation processes.
  • Prepare, facilitate, enter and track submissions in the Connecting Expertise platform.
  • Support in preparing, reviewing and submitting CVs.
  • Follow up on deadlines within proposal processes with various stakeholders within the organization.

Invoicing management

  • Support as needed in preparing and processing invoices for the sales team and finance department.
  • Follow up on outstanding payments and communicate with the finance department.
  • Support business units with monthly invoice management.
  • Processing invoices based on purchase orders (POs).
  • Careful follow-up of Internal Request issues related to invoicing. 

Soft skills

  • Experience in a similar position or a Bachelor education.
  • Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Team player with proactive attitude and customer-oriented attitude.
