From fragmented dashboards to predictable action

The challenge may look different depending on where you operate in the energy ecosystem. But the underlying problem is often remarkably similar: the information you need is there, just not in one place.

Facility

How do you balance comfort and energy efficiency?

HVAC, lighting and sensors often come from different vendors, each with their own dashboard.

Only when setpoints, occupancy and consumption per zone come together in one place can you make targeted adjustments. Without comfort complaints and without unnecessary energy waste.

Consumption

How do you make the most of a cPPA or flexible energy contract?

How do you purchase energy through a cPPA or flexible contract without being penalised for capacity peaks or imbalance?

That only becomes possible when your consumption profile, contract position and market prices sit side by side instead of being spread across three different systems.

 

Production

How do you keep your forecasts sharp?

For producers and asset managers, negative prices are no longer an exception and spreads are getting tighter.

The margin for error is disappearing. Accurate forecasting and timely action are becoming increasingly important to protect your margins.

Walk through 100 years of energy transition at Luminus

We kick off this event with a unique guided tour of the Luminus power plant in Ghent (Ham).

It's an impressive piece of industrial heritage where you'll literally walk through 100 years of energy transition. From the iconic chimney and former coal-fired power station to modern gas turbines, CHP installations, aircraft engines and e-boilers.

After the tour, we'll head to Red Loft Ghent (view more info below).

Arrival & registration
On arrival we register you and provide all practical information for the day. A first chance to greet colleagues and peers.
15:00 - 16:30
Visit to the Luminus power plant
A fast response peaking plant with open cycle gas turbines that steps in whenever the grid needs it, while also supplying heat to Ghent's district heating network.
16:30 - 16:50
Transfer to the red loft
After the plant visit, we head together to the Red Loft, where the evening programme begins.

Parking & Route

By car

Parking: Dok Noord Parking
Walk: From the car park, it is approximately a 10 minute walk to the Luminus Site Ham, and from the Luminus site, 15 min to the Red Loft. 
Arrival: Follow the indicated route to the site.
Red Loft: Once you arrive at the Luminus Site Ham, continue to the Red Loft, where the event will take place.

By public transport

Take the train to Gent-Dampoort. From there, take bus 5 or 8 and get off at Gent Stapelplein. Or walk to the Luminus plant (10min).
