Tracks & Talks

During this event, you’ll have the opportunity to choose between two different tracks:

Track 1 -  Business & Strategy Track

This track will be presented in Dutch and is ideal for those working at a conceptual, business, or strategic level within the organization. The focus is on high-level insights across different domains, without going too deep into specific tools, services, or technologies.

Talk 1: The real world needs real-time data - Peter Hardeel

IoT generates data in real time, yet many current applications don’t respond in real time. Real-time platforms enable smart applications that combine IoT, digital twins, and AI in new and meaningful ways, transforming streaming data into “smart business.” These digital solutions detect, analyze, and act at the speed of the real world. In this session, Peter explores data at the source and explains how this drives higher productivity for your organization.

Talk 2: Where is cloud-native taking us? - Peter Jans

A short session in which Peter Jans guides you through the cloud-native landscape, the challenges that remain, and where this evolution is heading in the future.

Talk 3: Legacy modernization as a catalyst for digital transformation - Tom De Wolf

Organizations have typically made significant investments in their existing application landscape. However, business needs have evolved and are no longer fully supported by these systems. External factors (such as the COVID crisis) can also force rapid change, requiring organizations to reinvent themselves. In this session, Tom explains how we approach legacy modernization in an innovative way, delivering clear benefits for your business.

Talk 4: Why Kubernetes has become essential in a modern IT-landscape - Peter Jans

A short but insightful session where Peter explains Kubernetes and its growing importance in modern IT environments.

Track 2 - Technology Track

This track will be presented in English and is ideal for those working at a more technical level within the organization. The Technology track focuses on more detailed insights into AWS services and how they are applied in practice.

Talk 1: Cloud-native on AWS - Kevin Azijn

Cloud-native is an approach to building and running applications that fully leverages the benefits of the cloud. In this session, you’ll learn how to design, test, deploy, and run serverless solutions.

Followed by a demo:

Building Cloud-Native Apps with AWS – Steve Parker
Talk 2: Run EKS anaywhere - Sanjeev Ganjihal

In this session, Sanjeev introduces EKS-Distro, EKS Anywhere, the EKS-A architecture, cluster creation details, use cases, and the EKS Connector. The session concludes with a live demo.
