Your role at ACA

Bij ACA kom je terecht in het OpsKlaar-team in Gent. Samen met ons werk je mee aan innovatieve cloudprojecten en onderzoek je hoe bedrijven het best kunnen overschakelen naar OpenTofu, de open source fork van Terraform. Terwijl Terraform steeds meer de commerciële kaart trekt, blijft OpenTofu trouw aan het community-gedreven model — en jij helpt mee om dat in de praktijk te brengen.

Je werkt aan een concrete en uitdagende opdracht:
👉 Migratie & testproject van Terraform naar OpenTofu
Je onderzoekt de verschillen, uitdagingen en compatibiliteit. Daarna voer je een migratie uit van een bestaand project, inclusief alle dependencies, zodat er een volledig werkende OpenTofu-oplossing ontstaat.

Hoe jij groeit tijdens je stage

  • Je verdiept je in Infrastructure as Code en de evolutie van Terraform naar OpenTofu.
  • Je krijgt hands-on ervaring met migraties en dependency management.
  • Je leert open source tooling evalueren en integreren in een professionele cloudomgeving.
  • Je ontdekt hoe je een real-life POC uitwerkt die écht bruikbaar is voor ons team en klanten.
  • Je maakt deel uit van een Cloud & DevOps team dat je begeleidt en uitdaagt via stand-ups, retro’s en demo’s.

Hard skills

  • Je hebt een sterke interesse in alles wat met Cloud te maken heeft.
  • Je bent een bachelor student
  • Communicatieve vaardigheden zijn cruciaal. Onze teams communiceren en delen hun kennis namelijk in het Nederlands en Engels. 
  • Je hebt een sterke analytische geest en uitgesproken passie om de ultieme oplossing voor dat ene cruciale probleem te vinden.

Soft skills

  • Je bent gepassioneerd door alles wat met IT te maken heeft.
  • Je bent een teamplayer, die ook wel zelfstandig kan werken. 
  • Je hebt een proactieve mindset en weet van aanpakken.
  • Je bent leergierig.
