Data Mesh Venture Builder

We’re looking for a dynamic and entrepreneurial Software Product Lead / Venture Builder to ignite the launch and growth of a new software product and business in the Data Mesh space.

You’ll be responsible for shaping the product vision, acquiring the first customers, defining market positioning, and laying the foundation for a high-performing development team.

The ideal candidate brings a mix of business acumen, strategic thinking, and a “yes-we-can” mindset to turn a concept into a scalable, successful company.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and engage with early customers, validate product-market fit, and refine the value proposition.
  • Develop a compelling product pitch and positioning strategy to attract users and investors.
  • Lead efforts to secure external funding, working closely with investors and stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain a strong product development team.
  • Oversee the go-to-market strategy and execution, ensuring a successful product launch and early traction.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive growth, partnerships, and business development.

Do you have what it takes?

Hard skills

  • Proven experience in launching or scaling software products, preferably in a startup or entrepreneurial environment.
  • Strong business development skills, with experience in customer acquisition and market positioning.
  • Ability to craft and deliver compelling product pitches to customers, partners, and investors.
  • Experience in fundraising and managing investor relationships is a significant plus.
  • Familiarity with agile product development methodologies and working with software development teams.

Soft skills

  • Strong leadership and team capabilities, with the ability to attract top talent.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and strategic thinking skills.
