Your role at ACA

Bij ACA maak je deel uit van ons Code Busters team, dat projecten uitwerkt voor IDEWE, een externe dienst voor preventie en bescherming op het werk. Je draait mee als een volwaardig developer in een agile werkomgeving, waar je niet alleen code schrijft, maar ook samenwerkt, bijleert en je ideeën kan laten horen.

Je krijgt een uitdagende stageopdracht met veel ruimte voor onderzoek en creativiteit:
👉 Een applicatie ontwikkelen die inzicht geeft in REST-call flows
IDEWE beschikt over een groot applicatielandschap. Het is vandaag moeilijk om te zien welke REST-calls allemaal gebruikt worden, hoe vaak en hoe lang ze duren. Jij helpt ons een applicatie te bouwen die dit visueel en intuïtief in kaart brengt. Daarbij onderzoek je zaken zoals:

  • Welke grafieken en visualisaties zijn het meest geschikt om call-trees weer te geven?
  • Hoe visualiseer je complexe vertakkingen en zorg je voor intuïtieve navigatie?

  • Is live-update van data haalbaar?

Samen met je stagebegeleider en teamleden bepaal je welke technische uitdagingen jij tijdens je stage verder uitwerkt.

Skills & ervaring die je opdoet

  • Je leert werken met moderne Java & Angular stacks in een real-world project.
  • Je verdiept je in datarepresentatie en visualisatie.
  • Je leert hoe een professioneel softwareteam werkt volgens Agile & Lean methodologieën zoals Scrum, Kanban, Scrumban, XP en TDD.
  • Je ontwikkelt skills in ontwerpen, implementeren, testen en debuggen.
  • Je krijgt de kans om je samenwerkings- en communicatievaardigheden te versterken binnen een multidisciplinair team.

Do you have what it takes?

Hard skills

  • Je hebt een sterke interesse in Java development. 
  • Je bent een bachelor student
  • Communicatieve vaardigheden zijn cruciaal. Onze teams communiceren en delen hun kennis namelijk in het Nederlands en Engels. 
  • Je hebt een sterke analytische geest en uitgesproken passie om de ultieme oplossing voor dat ene cruciale probleem te vinden.

Soft skills

  • Je bent gepassioneerd door alles wat met IT & software te maken heeft.
  • Je bent een teamplayer, die ook wel zelfstandig kan werken. 
  • Je hebt een proactieve mindset en weet van aanpakken.
  • Je bent leergierig.
