Your role at ACA

To support our growth, we are looking for a driven and proactive Legal Officer to strengthen our team.

As a Legal Officer, you will serve as the crucial legal linchpin within our company. You will provide broad support to management and the operational teams, ensuring a legally solid foundation for our growth.

Responsibilities

  • Contract Management & HR Support
    • Drafting, reviewing, and managing employment contracts and freelance agreements.
    • Ensuring compliance with applicable social and labor laws.
    • Management and follow-up of insurance policies.
  • Commercial Contracts
    • Reviewing, negotiating, and finalizing client contracts and vendor agreements.
    • Assisting with the legal aspects of tenders and large-scale projects.
  • Public Procurement
    • Reviewing and analyzing tender specifications and quotations.
  • Compliance & Documentation
    • Periodically reviewing and updating general terms and conditions, policies (such as privacy policy), and internal procedures.
    • Joining the Security Team and performing screenings of new suppliers.
    • Taking responsibility for the organization’s GDPR / NIS II compliance.
    • Monitoring laws and regulations relevant to an IT consultancy firm.
  • Administrative & Management Support
    • Providing support for general administrative tasks (document management, archiving).
    • Preparing legal documentation and presentations for management.
    • Acting as the primary point of contact for legal questions from within the organization.
    • Corporate housekeeping (management of statutes, etc.).
    • Dispute management.

Do you have what it takes?

Hard skills

  • Master of Laws (preferably specializing in Economic Law, IT Law, or Labor Law) or a Bachelor in Legal Practice.
  • 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in a legal role, preferably within a corporate environment or law firm with exposure to IT or consultancy.
  • Uitstekende beheersing van het Nederlands en het Engels, zowel mondeling als schriftelijk. Kennis van het Frans is een pluspunt.

Soft skills

  • Strong analytical skills and an eye for detail.
  • Proactive attitude, hands-on mentality, and willingness to take on administrative tasks.
  • Discreet and reliable when handling confidential business information.
