Your role at ACA

As a Mobile Developer at ACA, you are responsible for developing innovative and state-of-the-art mobile applications. You will be part of a dynamic and very passionate team that's always open for new ideas and initiatives. 

You will use the latest new technologies, such as: 

  • React Native
  • Kotlin & Swift (Native modules within React Native
  • Bitrise
  • Firebase

In addition, you work in an agile team. You think along with the customer about the functional and non-functional requirements of the mobile apps and you estimate the workload. You also think about improving the development process by taking initiative and making suggestions. Finally, you exchange feedback with your teammates: you provide them with input and receive valuable feedback in return.

Do you have what it takes?

Hard skills

  • You have at least 4 years of experience as a React Native Developer.
  • You have some knowledge of Kotlin and Swift.
  • You closely follow the latest mobile technologies and trends. 

Soft skills

  • You have a passion for software development and an eye for elegant design. 
  • You find code quality, mobile UX, performance, security and maintainability very important. 
  • You are specialized in your favorite technology, but you are also interested in continuously improving your technological skills. 
  • You know the importance of a good UX and UI, integration with other software, information architecture, DevOps, security and cloud. 
  • You have an analytical mindset with a critical view. You are proud of your work. 
  • You have good communication skills and have an enthusiastic mindset.
  • You work two days a week from our offices in Hasselt, Antwerp, or Ghent, and the remaining days from home. You are also willing to occasionally visit a client’s location for meetings.
