Mobile Developer (Flutter)

As a Mobile Developer at ACA, you are responsible for developing innovative and state-of-the-art mobile applications. You will be part of a dynamic and passionate team that is always open to new ideas and initiatives.

Your role at ACA

Our tech stack and architecture

You will work with a modern, scalable application architecture:

- Flutter & Dart: For building cross-platform applications for mobile and web.
- Serverpod: Our Dart-native backend-for-frontend, enabling full-stack Dart development
- Clean Architecture: A layered package structure with a strict dependency flow, keeping UI, application logic, domain, and data layers strictly separated.
- MVVM with Stacked: Viewmodels, Commands, and Reactive values for predictable state management.
- Mason CLI: We use code-generation templates for standard components and patterns to ensure standardization and reduce boilerplate code.
- Bitrise CI/CD: For automated builds, linting checks, deployments, etc.

Additionally, you will work in an Agile team. You will collaborate with the client to define functional and non-functional requirements for the mobile apps. You also contribute to improving the development process by showing initiative and making suggestions. Finally, you will exchange feedback with your teammates: providing them with input and receiving valuable feedback yourself.

Do you have what it takes?

Hard skills

  • You have more than 3 years of experience as a mobile developer, including at least 1 year of experience with Flutter/Dart.
  • You have a passion for software development and an eye for elegant design.
  • Code quality, performance, security, and maintainability are of great importance to you.

Soft skills

  • You have an analytical mindset with a critical eye. You take pride in your work
  • You possess strong communication skills and an enthusiastic “can-do” mentality.
  • You will work from our office in Antwerp two days a week. On the other days, you can choose your own work location (home, or our offices in Hasselt, Leuven or Ghent).
