Your role at ACA

Your role within ACA

As our .NET Architect & Competence Center Lead, you are the driving force behind our .NET software factory. You combine a clear vision with a hands-on mentality. Your mission is fourfold: you build a close-knit and talented team, you define and guard the technological standards, you ensure the flawless delivery of projects, and you play a key role in winning new business by leveraging your technical expertise during the sales process.

Your vision for our .NET Software Factory

You thrive in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment where you can contribute to finding new technical solutions. You combine your in-depth development expertise with a clear architectural vision. You are not just a developer; you are the technical leader who inspires the teams and sets the course. You take responsibility, guiding and inspiring your teams through new and challenging projects. As the CC Lead, you are the strategic technical partner in the pre-sales process. You translate the needs of potential clients into feasible, high-quality, and future-proof .NET solutions, ensuring that projects are built on a solid technical foundation right from the quotation stage.

Do you have what it takes?

Hard skills

  • Expertise in .NET: In-depth knowledge of the .NET framework (.NET Core, .NET 5/6/7/8+), C#, ASP.NET Core, and related technologies.
  • Cloud Architecture: Demonstrable experience in designing and implementing solutions on cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure (essential).
  • Experience with Scrum and/or Kanban to steer and coach project delivery.
  • Quality Assurance Processes: The ability to define and implement automated testing strategies (unit, integration, end-to-end testing) and code quality metrics (e.g., via SonarQube).
  • Drawing up technical analyses, architectures, and realistic plans.
  • Quality assurance of software deliveries according to software factory standards.
  • Active contribution to pre-sales processes and quotation preparation.
  • Researching and translating technological innovations into concrete applications.

Soft skills

  • Demonstrating leadership and guiding team members in their professional growth.
  • Collaborating with the leadership team on strategic team development.
  • Coaching teams and individuals to embed best practices.
  • Encouraging knowledge sharing within the community and competence center.
  • Customer-oriented thinking and communication in a pre-sales and project context.
  • Innovative mindset: by using the latest tools and technologies, you can develop highly scalable and reliable applications.
  • Flexible: a combination of working from home and from one of our ACA offices is possible, and you are not deterred by travel to client sites.
