As a Service Designer, you play a crucial role in designing service solutions that meet both user needs and business objectives. You work closely with multidisciplinary teams and clients to develop customer journeys and service blueprints that deliver measurable business results. You’ll also have the opportunity to take a leading role in initiatives such as the Sustainathon Discovery projects, where you'll be responsible for defining the right challenges and delivering concrete solutions.
Beyond designing services, you’ll guide clients in shaping their ideas and validating both the impact and feasibility of their concepts. This requires not only creativity and empathy, but also strong business acumen and the ability to deliver results in a cost-effective way.
Do you have what it takes?
Hard skills
- At least 5 years of experience in service design, with a proven focus on delivering business value.
- Strong experience in facilitating workshops and co-creation sessions, aimed at both customer needs and business outcomes.
- A track record in designing service blueprints and customer journeys that create tangible business impact.
- Expertise in design thinking and in conducting both qualitative and quantitative research.
- Demonstrated experience in leading Discovery projects, including business, service, and UX design.
- Fluency in both Dutch and English.
Soft skills
- Strong business acumen, with the ability to design services that deliver concrete business value.
- A results-driven mindset, capable of delivering solutions with measurable impact.
- Natural leadership skills, able to guide teams and support clients throughout their innovation journey.
- A proactive, hands-on attitude, with a strong sense of responsibility and resilience under pressure.

- How a scalable cloud platform for HLN.be made cycling safer in Flanders
To make cycling in Flanders safer, DPG Media Group wanted a platform that could handle high traffic while delivering lightning-fast performance. That’s how VeloVeilig Vlaanderen came to life: an initiative hosted on HLN.be where citizens can report and view dangerous spots for cyclists. Together with Antenna, we built a powerful scalable web application using Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The goal? Keep cyclists safe, even during national news coverage spikes.
