Business Unit Leadership

Our Business Unit "Tools for Teams" is looking to strengthen their leadership team.

We are looking for an experienced colleague with the ambition to further develop and expand our "Tools for Teams" business unit, together with the Business Unit Manager (BUM) and the existing team, within a no-nonsense, "can do" culture. The focus of this unit is currently primarily on Atlassian products, but the team is exploring opportunities for broadening its scope. Experience with other players in the "Tools for Teams" space is therefore welcome. From an operational and people management perspective, you will contribute to the long-term strategy and growth of ACA Group. In addition to a technical and/or functional role, depending on your experience, you will structure and manage internal and external projects and build and strengthen relationships with clients.

Your role at ACA

Where will you excel?

  • Strategy: You will assist the BUM in translating the vision and strategy for the unit into concrete objectives (OKRs and KPIs) and result-oriented actions.
  • Operations: As the right hand of the BUM, you will manage the daily operations of the business unit. You will develop and refine existing and new processes, systems, and practices, and monitor their implementation with a focus on day-to-day efficiency and "billability." Together with the BUM, you will be responsible for the (qualitative and financial) results of the team.
  • People Management: Alongside your BUM, you will lead, support, and coach the team members, starting from onboarding. You will inspire the team by clearly articulating and promoting the strategy and objectives. You will guide the team towards the best training initiatives, determine certification needs (e.g., in the context of maintaining Atlassian Platinum status), and organize appropriate training modules. You will strengthen knowledge sharing within and outside the unit.
  • Project Management: You will oversee the ongoing projects within the business unit. You will also personally take on one or more projects, bringing your technical and/or functional expertise to the table.
  • Innovation: You will initiate and lead process improvements and identify opportunities that contribute to innovative projects within the business unit and help realize ACA's long-term strategy.

Do you have what it takes?

Hard skills

  • You have experience in one or more of the following methodologies: ITIL, SAFe, Lean, Scrum, Agile, and solutions such as ITSM, Portfolio Management, or BI.
  • Your passion for Atlassian or other Tools for Teams is evident, and experience in leading projects within these domains is a plus. In any case, it is essential that you have previously used Jira and Confluence applications.
  • You enjoy working in an organized manner, bringing structure, and ensuring orderly administration.
You excel in "operational excellence" and know how to apply this across different teams.

Soft skills

  • You are respectful, collegial, and place great importance on the well-being of the team.
  • You have a proactive and communicative mindset and know how to be flexible in working with various projects and people.
  • You are a people leader who motivates team members, provides direction, and supports them in a coaching manner.
