Our Cloud & DevOps Team supports customers with managed services, cloud hosting, migration projects, and optimization initiatives across the four major platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP, and SUSE. To further strengthen and expand these services, we are looking for a Cloud Pre-Sales professional who can speak the language of both cloud engineers/architects and business stakeholders.
What Will You Do?
As a Cloud Pre-Sales professional, you are the key link between the customer, the cloud team, and the sales team. You are involved from the very first customer interaction and play a crucial role throughout the sales process.
- You analyze the needs of customers and prospects and translate them into scalable cloud solutions based on Cloud Native principles, DevSecOps practices, and innovative infrastructure architectures.
- Together with developers and architects, you design tailored solutions and independently transform them into clear, technically sound, and compelling proposals, tenders, and statements of work.
- With your passion for technology and strong presentation skills, you bring customers along in our vision and convince them of our architectural choices. Winning a pitch gives you energy.
- You proactively identify new business opportunities, actively seek out new prospects, and build long-term relationships. This means you'll regularly be out meeting customers and prospects in person.
Do you have what it takes?
Hard skills
- At least 3 years of experience in a pre-sales, consultancy, or similar technical-commercial role, including hands-on experience with writing proposals and delivering customer presentations.
- Strong expertise in cloud solutions and modern infrastructure architectures. You are passionate about Cloud Native technologies and keep a close eye on the latest developments in the field. Concepts such as Kubernetes, GitOps, and DevSecOps are well within your area of expertise.
- A willingness to obtain (or further expand) sales- and architect-level certifications in AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or SUSE. Certifications related to Kubernetes, Datadog, and New Relic are also considered valuable. Existing cloud sales certifications are a strong plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Dutch, French, and English.
Soft skills
- You have the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear and understandable solutions for CTOs, Business Managers, and customers alike.
- Strong organizational skills, enabling you to align multiple stakeholders—including customers, sales teams, and engineers—and keep everyone working toward a common goal.
- An affinity for project management, including scope definition, planning, risk assessment, and methodologies such as Agile/Scrum or PRINCE2, is considered a plus.
