Challenge: Designing for scale in a fast-growing IoT environment

As C-all expanded from a basic app to a full-scale IoT solution for service station management. The core challenge was: how to build an infrastructure that could scale from 10 to 10 000+ devices without constant reengineering. The platform needed to handle millions of real-time data signals every month and without breaking the bank. Ensuring resilience, scalability and cost control was essential, especially as new features were continuously added and deployments accelerated.

Solution: A resilient, cloud-native architecture on Google Cloud

We designed and implemented a scalable cloud architecture that supports fast growth, high availability and advanced data processing. The solution includes:

  • A scalable data ingestion pipeline built using Kubernetes clusters, serverless functions, and a mix of cloud-native databases for flexibility and speed.

  • Real-time anomaly detection that raises automated alerts, allowing service station operators to react instantly.

  • Custom AI pipelines for predictive maintenance, detecting issues before they impact operations.

  • A custom-built web interface that provides a full, up-to-date view of every connected service station.

Every component was built to scale, self-heal and stay cost-efficient.
