Smarter service delivery for citizens thanks to generative AI
Today, citizens expect fast, accessible, and accurate answers to their (digital) questions, exactly when it suits them. To support local governments in this, s-Lim is launching LiSA, a smart AI assistant within Mijn Stadsapp that assists residents 24/7 with questions about their municipality. ACA Group contributed to the development of the AI technology behind LiSA.
LiSA helps residents quickly find answers to questions about municipal services, procedures, documents, activities, and other local topics. Through a user-friendly chat interface, citizens gain access to relevant information at any time of the day, without having to search across various web pages or contact the specific department.
AI built on reliable local information
Generative AI offers many possibilities, but it also brings challenges. How do you ensure that answers remain correct? How do you avoid incorrect or misleading information? And how do you build trust with users?
Reliability was central to the development of LiSA. The AI assistant exclusively uses information from official municipal sources and communication channels. As a result, residents receive answers that fit their local context and are based on up-to-date, validated information.
The solution combines the power of generative AI with a controlled knowledge base. This allows local governments to deploy innovative technology without compromising on quality, transparency, or reliability.
A collaboration between technology and societal impact
For ACA Group, LiSA is a great example of how technology can create tangible added value for both organizations and citizens. By deploying AI thoughtfully, local governments can further strengthen their services and guide residents to the right information more quickly.
Additionally, LiSA helps to handle frequently asked questions automatically, giving employees more time for complex cases and personal contact with residents.
The collaboration with s-Lim aligns with ACA Group's ambition to support organizations in responsibly deploying AI technology, with a focus on user-friendliness, reliability, and impact.
LiSA is no standard chatbot. Behind the scenes runs an advanced data project that rapidly translates unstructured information from over 100,000 web pages across 20+ municipalities into clear answers. We make this wealth of local information directly accessible to residents, while completely relieving the local governments without creating additional tasks or overhead.

Building the digital government of tomorrow together
The launch of LiSA shows how local governments are already taking concrete steps today toward a more digital and user-friendly service delivery. For ACA, this project once again confirms the power of AI when technology stems from a clear need and is developed with the end user in mind.
We are proud to have contributed to a solution that helps citizens faster, supports local governments, and puts the possibilities of generative AI into practice in a responsible way.
