You will join our Innovation Team, where your primary focus will be designing and building advanced Data Mesh platforms. The goal is to optimize the developer experience for customers working with data products. This means you are not just a software developer, but an engineer who builds the platform that enables other developers to work with data efficiently and effectively.

What will you do as a Platform Engineer at ACA Group?

  • You design and build scalable Data Mesh platforms for data-driven organizations
  • You improve the developer experience through automation, tooling and SDKs
  • You develop cloud-native platform solutions on Kubernetes
  • You ensure the platform remains user-friendly, secure, maintainable and performant
  • You explore and implement new technologies and innovative solutions
  • You collaborate with data engineers, cloud engineers, architects and product managers
  • You help customers deliver data products faster and more efficiently

Which skills do you need?

  • You have strong Java expertise and experience with complex distributed systems
  • You are familiar with Kubernetes and have a strong interest in Platform Engineering and DevOps
  • You have experience with cloud-native technologies such as Docker, CI/CD and public cloud platforms
  • You have worked with frameworks such as Spring Boot, Micronaut or Quarkus
  • You understand software design, object-oriented principles and design patterns
  • You are analytical, communicative and enjoy working in multidisciplinary teams
  • You communicate fluently in Dutch and English
